Global Segment Manager Food

As a member of the Global Food Commercial team, you are responsible for the development of the designated Segment within the Global Sales Organization. Your main responsibility is to further successful develop the portfolio of products within one of the designated Segments Meat, Dairy, Bakery & Confectionary. You are expected to be able to travel to Avebe's locations and various international events occasionally, in this role you will report to the Business Leader Food, who is located in The Netherlands.

Accountabilities

• The segment manager will create value by identifying, developing and leading initiatives to support Royal Avebe's solutions to the specific segment.
• Responsible for achieving the Global Segment performance targets, in line with the strategic program
• Monitors trends in business, market segments and customer requirements and translates this into an innovative solutions & initiatives resulting in a product portfolio offering relevant for regional customer market needs
• Drive strategic and tactical deployment of innovation programs and go-to-market initiatives for relevant segments
• Driving role in idea generation, project management, market launch execution and measurement of go-to-market programs and initiatives.
• Represents Avebe during Fairs and Seminars, providing support to sales initiatives Maps relevant potential markets and clients and is responsible to deliver market side business cases input for initiatives and innovation projects
• Builds, maintains and expands a network of new and existing strategic external relations.

• Knowledge and experience

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Commerce, Business administration, food science or food technology;
• Relevant processing knowledge of the food ingredient market;
• 6 to 10 years' relevant product portfolio management experiences in the food-ingredients industry, with value-added products, services and innovation;
• Comfortable working and travelling in an international business to business environment;
• Excellent communication skills in English, German, Dutch or Spanish language skills a pre
