Kisuma (with 100+ FTEs) is the leading global supplier of synthetic layered double hydroxides (commonly referred to as 'hydrotalcites') for plastics. That sounds very technical, but everyone will be familiar with products in which our hydrotalcites are used. Examples include PVC, plastic window frames and products in the automotive industry.

As a Logistics Operator, you will work in five shifts. During the production run, you and your colleagues will ensure that the production process runs optimally. The Logistics Operator controls and directs the production process in the packaging process and takes care of the administrative procedures.

Specifically, the following tasks are part of your role

• Overseeing the smooth running of the fully automated packaging processes;

• Operating, controlling, regulating and adjusting production equipment in the packaging department and analysing process samples;

• Reporting malfunctions and breakdowns to the panel operator;

• Loading and unloading auxiliary materials and finished products (forklift truck);

• Performing first-line maintenance/troubleshooting and assisting the mechanic;

• Keeping equipment and the working area clean;

• Securing equipment and the working area for maintenance/product transition;

• Administrative processing of shipping documents;

• All other routine work in the department.

• You have a Lower Vocational Theoretical education in a technical field, supplemented by Vapro A (operation of process technology);

• You have a forklift truck certificate and experience;

• An SCC certificate is an advantage;

• Command of the Dutch language. Command of English and German is an advantage;

• You recognise yourself in the following competences: team player focused on collaboration and quality, and safety conscious;

• You enjoy working in an around-the-clock production environment;

• Working in five shifts.
